NaNoWriMo Days 12 & 13 - 26,032 words
Greetings,
NaNoWriMo day 12 I started off the day early working with my peer as a Peer Support Specialist. Later, I spent the day hard at work writing and working on the newsletter for work. I finished writing key articles in the newsletter. I was able to produce a final hard copy. I printed it up and then edited it. I reprinted up a second copy. I didn't get home til after 7 pm. By then I had dinner and realized how drained I was so I went to bed by 8 pm.
NaNoWriMo day 13 I picked up a dvd from the library called "Autumn Rush." I look forward to seeing it later, mostly likely with my neighbor. We like to watch movies together. I then went into work and found a few mistakes on the newsletter, corrected the newsletter, and reprinted only those pages that were corrected. I inserted the final copy into a manila envelope labled November 2008 newsletter. I called my supervisor to help me locate the mailing labels and proceeded to print the addresses out from a mailing list file. I collected the stamps with the box of envelopes and along with my boss we went to go to the office where the color copier was. She worked the color copy machine and then we reviewed an rehearsed for a presentation we are going to perform for the Waukesha Mental Health Center called "Common Ground" which is forming positive relationships between consumers and health care providers using communication and tools. While we were were reviewing the case scenarios and our notes, we had help from some people who stapled, folded, and inserted in envelopes the newsletter. They're ready to be mailed out Friday once the labels and the stamps are put on the envelopes.
I got home and was very hungry. I ate dinner and drank refreshing cold water. I was happy about what was accomplished at work today. I took a nap hoping I would be refueled to get up and write more in my novel. While I was resting my neighbor came to my door. We talked briefly while listening to some music. We shared about our day and then she left me to work on my novel. I felt very inspired in the next addition of the novel and the words flowed smoothly. I started to feel energized. When I saw that I reached 26,032 words I was overjoyed because I broke the halfway mark of 25,000 milestone of my novel two days before the halfway mark on November 15. I never thought I would get this far so soon.
