CanDo! CO-OP Global Launch: A Rousing Success Thanks To Good Friends Like YOU!

Aloha Everyone! Thanksgiving Day's CO-OP Launch was a tremendous experience, once we got past a few minor technical glitches ~ certainly, the fruition of a longtime dream and only the beginning of great things to come! My daughter, Fawn (founder of the Work With Me group here at iLiF) co-hosted our special session, now archived on WiZiQ.com, and I am so grateful for her amazing assistance and attention to visitors as we navigated our way through the program.

Our friend, Peter Love (professional singer/entertainer and 811rv advocate) was the special guest for this long-awaited event, along with good pals Matt Hern (Purple Thistle Centre,) Brenda MacIntyre, Shivella Rogers, Larry Hochman and Dr. Doug Graham of FoodnSport.com on the big blue ball, thanks to the wonder of video clips! The following morning, it came to me in a flash -- Health & Fitness "Hot Spots" on YouTube! We've been discussing this concept for a while now on the "Work With Me" and "Naturally F1T Family" groups as a complement to the CO-OP. Thinking about Shivella juggling oranges in her back yard grove here on the Nature Coast, and elaborating on the desire to become the host of a children's program in her fun demo vid, it became clear that we are on to something huge :D The recent YouTube LIVE event really impressed me with the magnitude and possibilities of utilizing this service to the max!

Peter promotes children's causes through his music and the Save Our Children Foundation, and I can't help but think how awesome it would be to tap into his talents and that of folks like El-bo of GiveItToMeRaw, Dr. D and his niece, Liati Mayk, not to mention Amy Duncan and others (whose songs are all featured on the iLearn in Freedom and UNCommon Sense Networks,) to collaborate on a hit theme song for the show.

Also showcased in our session was another juggling friend o' mine: longtime educator, counselor and friend of the CO-OP, Larry Hochman of NoMoreHoldingBack.com. He and his wife, Diane, have been a wonderful source of encouragement and inspiration to me since we were all drawn to the Powerful Intentions community a couple of years ago.

Shivella has her degree in Mass Communication, and is an experienced athlete and event organizer with her partner, Chris Moling of DRCSports.com. She's also worked with developmentally-challenged youth & adults at the Key Training Center for many years. Robby Barbaro, co-founder of the Back Yard Fruit Pickers along with Taylor Snipes, has interned with Doug at his annual events, including Health & Fitness Week in Washington State, and is currently studying at UF with plans to enter the health & fitness arena following graduation. That, combined with Dr. D and Prof. Rozi Graham's know-how in sports nutrition and the field of family fitness, plus the youth service project Robby and Taylor plan to offer through the BYFP program (see "Urban Fruit Gleaners" in the WWM group) are a recipe for success, IMHO :D Looking forward to hearing your thoughts while the energy's high and the good vibes are flowing!! :D
