Just sharing some thoughts
I use to look at teachers working in the public school system with such awe, of how can they do this, year after year, were they even human? :)
for years I wanted to do what they were doing, but couldn't and thought I must be missing a gene to be able to do that. No matter how I tried, and was focusing on the positive aspects... it simply did not work. I could not play the game. I would voice my opinons to the boss and principle, I could not keep my mouth shut. Rather… Continue

I have been on this journey working in schools that are part of the public school system. I am taking my notes of what I do like. I voice my opinion about things at one job,there, I have been the minority in that, or at least it seems to be like that so far. I got a new job, but they don't know I look at it as paid field work. I will be quiet and take my mental notes. I already went to one meeting, and the way they were all looking over tests scores, it was like a bunch of ants over a potatoe ch… Continue

Just as I was reconsidering my decision to inject the idea of "psychological self-delusion" (PSD) into this discussion, fellow iPeace/iLiF member, Rob, posted a blog to the Network with enough food for thought on the subject of compulsory educatio… Continue

(I wrote this a while ago for I-peace, but thought it might be at home here,
seems innane to add it, its just a rant and mildly pointless, but im too tired atm to contribute and wanted to contribute something)
This is a bloody good question
These are the single most pressing issues we face in the world today
The rampant and unchecked environmental destruction wrought by humanity along with our soon to be exhausted natural resources are, in the words of one eloquent critic;
about to bite us on t… Continue
