At 3 am this fine morning, pumped full of Mountain Dew, I crossed the 50,000 word finish line for my Native American novel "Two Step." I am still here and writing my "Two Step" novel. I just went out of town for four days and came back and threw myself in my work and my novel so I haven't had the luxury of time to keep you all up dated as much as I like. So I will summarize the last few days here in a single email.

NaNoWriMo day 12 I started off the day early working with my peer as a Peer Support Specialist. Later, I spent the day hard at work writing and working on the newsletter for work. I finished writing key articles in the newsletter. I was able to produce a final hard copy. I printed it up and then edited it. I reprinted up a second copy. I didn't get home til after 7 pm. Went to work today early. Weather was most cold even with a winter coat on standing at the bus stop. Felt motion sickness on the bus at every turn and detour. Relieved to get off the bus. Early morning I spent writing in my journal and doing more cleaning. In the afternoon I had to go to the hospital because of my diabetes. It wasn't for an emergency basis, the diabetes education center is located there. I go there for regular maintenance and diabetic education courses.
