Tell us more about your projects, AnnMarie!! My mom was part of a neighborhood quilting circle (Singing and Sewing Society) when I was growing up, and taught me to quilt a bit.

My husband's grandmother made a gorgeous quilt for him and his little brother, and it's similar to the double wedding ring, only smaller and like a stained glass window pattern with raised sections connected only at the corners. His grandfather drew me a diagram of the pattern years ago, but I'm not sure what it's called and no longer have the quilt (I should have kept a piece of it after it finally fell apart.) We loved it to death! ;-)

Yes. This group is for any kind of activities. Some ideas I had in mind when I first put this group together were knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Some other ideas I had for the group were amateur films, computer programming, and other projects you might need help with. It could also be for posting instructions and comments. Of course that's not all, really it's for this, that, and everything in between. So thx for joining and have fun ;)

I have recently taken up quilting but have been crafting and painting for a longtime. Are those the kind of activities that will be shared here? I am currently finishing up a cookbook I have been writing with my family now for 2 years.
