Eureka! I had another brainstorm for this project :D The name, Creative Community Playhouse, came to me in a burst of inspiration, and it really says it all, eh? Encompasses the idea for a children's museum and a performing/creative arts venue all in one! I see it as the perfect indoor complement to the Creative Community Playground, but privately-funded.

The weekend of the Florida Manatee Fest should be our 333 window of opportunity for raising the $300,000 to purchase these two properties! We've had all sorts of uni-winks on this one, too, from tenants moving on short notice due to an unexpected turn of events with the sale of the property to the name, Aardvark's on one building and a giraffe with a palm tree painted on the other. The significance there is that one includes our surname and the other is the symbol for the language of the heart (I'm an active support of Marshall Rosenberg's Center for Nonviolent Communication.)

I've admired Heritage Village (directly across the street) ever since I first discovered it years ago, and really wanted to locate our place in the heart of the historic district, readily accessible by both foot and car. My new friends and kindred spirits, Lisa (owner of the Plantation Realty Garage Sale & Consignment Shop, recently opened next to the CO-OP, and enthusiastic advocate of The Secret) and Laura Lou (creative mind behind both the Village and the Creative Community Playground) are gifts from the Universe in and of themselves!

I'm so excited about this -- thanks to my partners, Fawn, Serita, and Lenka for the roles they've played to bring this dream to fruition, to Doug and Rozi, Peter and Barbara, Robby and Shivella for allowing us to support their vision in the spirit of cooperation, and to Everyone in our Network and circle of friends a thousand times over, including my Secret Teachers - Mary Baker Eddy, Rhonda Byrne, Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, and Michael Beckwith - Cheers to you for encouraging me to keep the dream alive and just do it! :D
